Birmingham City
In March 2020, an Independent Disciplinary Commission dismissed a misconduct charge brought by the EFL against Birmingham City. The EFL subsequently appealed the decision and an Independent League Arbitration panel upheld the appeal and found the Club guilty of misconduct.

Bolton Wanderers
An independent Disciplinary Commission, appointed under EFL Regulations, ruled that Bolton Wanderers will be handed a sanction of five points, suspended for 18 months, and a financial penalty as a result of being deemed guilty of breaching EFL Regulations in failing to meet its fixture obligations.

Derby County
In January 2020, following a review of Derby County’s Profitability and Sustainability (P&S) submissions, the EFL charged the Club for recording losses in excess of the permitted amounts provided for in EFL Regulations for the three-year period ending 30 June 2018. An independent Disciplinary Commission has dismissed the charge brought against the Club in respect of the valuation associated with the sale of Pride Park in 2018.

Macclesfield Town
An independent Disciplinary Commission has determined that Macclesfield Town will be deducted a further seven points from this season’s League Two table following breaches of EFL Regulations.

The League has also received the written reasons following the August 2020 appeal by the EFL of the sporting sanction issued by an Independent Disciplinary Commission to Macclesfield Town after the Club was charged with a breach of Regulations for failing to pay its players on the applicable due dates in March 2020.
