Round Two of the Carabao Cup is done and dusted, and there were some impressive performances on show, recognised in the Team of the Round, powered by WhoScored ratings.

Lincoln City boss Mark Kennedy has been named as the manager, having guided the Imps to victory over Premier League opposition Sheffield United. Lincoln played out a goalless draw with the Blades before prevailing in the penalty shootout.

Blackburn Rovers trio Dilan Markanday, Jake Garrett and John Buckley made the line-up, having each found the back of the net in Rovers' 8-0 vanquishing of Harrogate Town to comfortably advance to Round Three.

Meanwhile, Fulham defender Kenny Tete - who converted the decisive penalty as the Cottagers overcame Tottenham Hotspur on spot-kicks - is featured in the team alongside Everton's Vitalii Mykolenko on the opposite flank, having played his part in the Toffees' hard-fought win against Doncaster Rovers.

After scoring a brace on his second Wolverhampton Wanderers debut, Matt Doherty is partnered by Exeter City's Will Aimson who helped the Grecians to progress from Round Two for the first time in over three decades.

Another player who found himself among the goals and in the Team of the Round is Josh Laurent who was at the double for Stoke City in an impressive 6-1 victory over Championship rivals Rotherham United.

And despite bowing out of the competition, Crysencio Summerville starred for Leeds United as they were beaten by Salford City on penalties

Up front, Jean-Philippe Matete's hattrick earns him a place in the team. The striker notched a second-half treble - his first for the Club - as Crystal Palace turned it around against Plymouth Argyle.
