Birmingham City have won eight of their last 11 home league games against Rotherham United (D2 L1), winning 2-0 last season under John Eustace.

Rotherham have won just two of their last 19 league matches against Birmingham (D7 L10), 2-0 wins in both September 2015 and August 2022.

Birmingham could win successive home league games for the third time this campaign, one more than they did across the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons combined.

Rotherham have lost eight of their nine away league games this season – since the rebrand in 2004-05, the only two previous occasions that a side lost as many as nine of their opening 10 away league games in a Championship season are Rotherham in 2016-17 and Peterborough in 2021-22, both of whom were relegated.

Only Shrewsbury Town (2) have scored fewer away league goals in the top four tiers of English football this season than Rotherham (4), while the Millers haven’t scored more than once in an away league game since a 3-2 defeat to Burnley in November 2022.
