Leeds are looking to complete their first league double over Ipswich since the 2001-02 Premier League campaign.

Ipswich have lost their last three league visits to Elland Road against Leeds since a 1-0 victory back in September 2015 under Mick McCarthy.

Leeds United’s Crysencio Summerville has been involved in 14 goals in his last 12 league starts (9 goals, 5 assists), while at Elland Road he has either scored or assisted in each of his last seven games there (5 goals, 5 assists).

Ipswich Town have won 30 league matches during 2023, equalling their club record from 1998. The last side to win more than 30 league games in a year while playing outside of the Premier League was Southampton in 2011 (33), who were promoted from League One into the Championship that year and went on to reach the Premier League the following year.

Ipswich have made the best start by a newly promoted side in Football League history, with no side ever having 16 wins from 22 games or as many as 50+ points at this stage (assuming 3 points/win). In fact, since 2004-05 in the Championship, there have been 35 newly promoted teams who haven’t even reached 16 wins in a full season.
