Middlesbrough celebrated their progression to the semi-final of the Carabao Cup with a 1-0 win over West Brom at the weekend with Morgan Rogers the star performer for Michael Carrick's side. Rogers scored the only goal of the game shortly before the break, netting with one of two shots, and was unfortunate not to register an assist having created five goalscoring chances.

4. Marcelino Nunez (Norwich) - 8.30 rating

Norwich extended their unbeaten run to five matches as they beat Huddersfield 2-0 on Saturday. Marcelino Nunez was the player of the match at Carrow Road having returned a WhoScored.com rating of 8.30. Nunez provided the assist for Sam McCallum's second half opener, that coming from one of five key passes, while three successful dribbles capped a fine afternoon for the 23-year-old.

3. Taylor Harwood-Bellis (Southampton) - 8.64 rating

Southampton made it a whopping 15 games unbeaten as they beat QPR 1-0 in west London over the weekend. Centre-back Taylor Harwood-Bellis was the star performer for Saints in the capital as the 21-year-old not only netted the only goal of the game but also put in a solid defensive showing to secure all the spoils. Indeed, the youngster made five interceptions, two clearances and one tackle in a superb rearguard display.

2. Patson Daka (Leicester) - 8.65 rating

Leicester maintained their seemingly unstoppable march back to the Premier League as the league leaders ultimately eased past Championship footers Rotherham at the King Power Stadium. Patson Daka netted twice in the Foxes' 3-0 win, getting the better of Viktor Johansson with two of four shots, while the 25-year-old also won two aerial duels for the title favourites.

1. Juninho Bacuna (Birmingham) - 9.22 rating

The Championship player of the week comes from Plymouth's entertaining 3-3 draw with Birmingham at Home Park. Juninho Bacuna was superb for Wayne Rooney's side as he directly contributed to all three goals for the visitors, following up his pair of first half assists with a goal midway through the second half. Those came from respective returns of five key passes and three shots on his way to a WhoScored.com rating of 9.22.
