The February nominations for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month Award are:
Gareth Ainsworth (Wycombe Wanderers)
A wild February ride for the ‘Wild Thing’. Wycombe’s four wins from four games under Ainsworth included victories against promotion rivals Derby and Bolton and persuaded Queens Park Rangers to hire him as their new manager.
Scott Brown (Fleetwood Town)
On February 4th, Fleetwood sat just two points above the relegation zone before Brown inspired them to a run of four one-goal wins and a draw at leaders Plymouth to end the month in 11th place with a haul of 13 points from six games.
Michael Duff (Barnsley)
Barnsley were almost unstoppable as they paired 16 points with 16 goals from six unbeaten games. They did so with the clinical edge that Duff has instilled, ending the month with an emphatic 4-1 win over fellow contenders Derby.
Darren Moore (Sheffield Wednesday)
February was a month of true significance as Moore’s men set a new club record of 20 games without defeat and moved top of League One. Their five games yielded 13 points, including a combined four against automatic promotion rivals Plymouth and Ipswich.

Chey Dunkley (Shrewsbury Town) – central defender
The lynchpin of a Shrewsbury defence which kept three clean sheets in five games to maintain their unlikely play-off push. Always an aerial threat at set pieces, he contributed a thumping finish and a neat assist against Port Vale.
David McGoldrick (Derby County) – striker
McGoldrick was simply sublime in February. His six goals and three assists, which included a five-minute hat-trick either side of half-time against Morecambe, do not tell the full story of his movement, crossing ability and razor-sharp finishing.
Ricardo Santos (Bolton Wanderers) - central defender
In 116 appearances prior to February, Bolton captain Santos had never scored for the club. Then came three goals in six games for the defensive strongman, who has recovered from the debilitating illness he endured in December.
Jordan Williams (Barnsley) – full-back
The dependable right side of a Barnsley defence which only conceded four goals in six games, he used his pace in attack, too, contributing an assist and two goals – a fine, controlled volley against Cambridge and a rasping drive at Cheltenham.
