Rotherham United have won each of their last four league meetings with Ipswich Town, their longest ever league winning run over the Tractor Boys.

Ipswich have lost each of their last four league visits to Rotherham, all by a 1-0 scoreline. They had only lost three of their first 14 Football League away games against the Millers before this (W8 D3).

Rotherham won their last midweek league game (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) 2-0 over Coventry last month; not since February 2021 have the Millers won consecutive midweek fixtures in the Championship.

Ipswich are unbeaten in their last 19 midweek (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) league games (W15 D4), winning their last six in a row; it’s the Tractor Boys’ longest such winning run since winning seven in a row from January to September 1998.

Rotherham’s Jordan Hugill has scored in both of his two previous home league appearances against Ipswich – one for Middlesbrough in December 2018, and one for Preston in January 2017.
