Centre-back: Taylor Allen (Walsall) - 9.17 rating

With a WhoScored.com rating of 9.17, Walsall centre-back Taylor Allen deserves his spot in the EFL Team of the Week. Allen followed up his first half assist with a goal of his own shortly after the restart, those coming from respective returns of two key passes and two shots. Three aerial wins and three interceptions contributed to the 24-year-old's inclusion as Walsall smashed Swindon 4-0.

Centre-back: Tom Naylor (Chesterfield) - 9.12 rating

Chesterfield centre-back Tom Naylor directly contributed to two goals at Crewe, hitting the back of the net with both efforts on goal. Naylor was also on hand to make three clearances, one interception and one tackle as he earned a WhoScored.com rating of 9.12.

Left-back: Dennis Cirkin (Sunderland) - 8.33 rating

Left midfield: Haji Wright (Coventry) - 9.82 rating

With a WhoScored.com rating of 9.82, Coventry's Haji Wright is the EFL Player of the Week. The 26-year-old netted twice in Coventry's 3-2 win over Oxford on Friday night, the brace coming from eight shots, while additional returns of five aerial wins, four dribbles and three key passes capped a superb showing.
