Kieran Sadlier awarded Bristol Street Motors Trophy Player of the Round
Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Kieran Sadlier has been named as the Bristol Street Motors Trophy Player of the Round for the Quarter-Finals.
The Chairboys cruised through to the final four with a 4-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion Under-21s, as Sadlier - who was denied a hat-trick - chipped in with a brace.
The 29-year-old's first-half double set Matt Bloomfield's side on their way to the Semi-Final where they will face League One opposition Peterborough United.
Two-time competition winner Sadlier helped Rotherham United and Bolton Wanderers to glory in the last two years but this time, he's hoping to make it all the way to Wembley.

“Just knowing now that we’re quite close, it gets exciting as you get to this stage,” he said. "We just need to instil in the team that it’s a massive chance to get to Wembley and a massive chance to make the season a success. It gives the boys confidence as well if we win; that winning feeling brings momentum.
“I’ve been a bit unfortunate that I’ve played all the way up until the Semi-Finals in the last two years, then decided to either leave the Club or go on loan to another Club and never actually played in the Final.
“I went both times to watch the lads play at Rotherham and Bolton, but never played. This year, now we’ve got this far, my aim is 100 percent to play in the Final at Wembley because I’ve never played there before."
