4. Junior Firpo (Leeds United) - 8.68 rating

Junior Firpo excelled off the bench in Leeds' 3-0 win over Birmingham. Firpo replaced Sam Byram in the first half at Elland Road and went on to provide two assists from four key passes. The 27-year-old worked hard off the ball to ensure the clean sheet too as he made three interceptions, one tackle and one clearance.

3. Crysencio Summerville (Leeds United) - 8.78 rating

Remaining at Elland Road, Crysencio Summerville earned his 11th player of the match award of the season as Leeds beat Birmingham on New Year's Day. The Dutch forward bagged his 12th goal of the campaign midway through the second half from one of two shots and was unfortunate not to add an assist having made four key passes on home turf.

2. Tatsuhiro Sakamoto (Coventry City) - 8.91 rating

Coventry claimed an impressive win at Middlesbrough on Monday as the Sky Blues secured a 3-1 win at the Riverside. Tatsuhiro Sakamoto was the star performer for Mark Robins' side having netted either side of half time from three shots in total. An additional four key passes and four interceptions meant the 27-year-old was good value for his WhoScored.com rating of 8.91.

1. Morgan Whittaker (Plymouth Argyle) - 9.13 rating

Argyle and Watford played out an entertaining 3-3 draw at Home Park to kick off 2024 with Morgan Whittaker impressing in the stalemate. Whittaker was directly involved in two of the Pilgrims' three goals, following up his goal midway through the first half with the assist for Ryan Hardie's strike shortly before the break.
