Stockport made it back-to-back wins to suggest their title push is back on track with a resounding 5-1 victory at Doncaster. Macauley Southam-Hales is the first of three Hatters representatives to feature in the best rated rundown having earned a WhoScored.com rating of 8.34 at the Eco-Power Stadium. Indeed, Southam-Hales registered a brace of assists from three key passes on Saturday.

Centre-back: Cheyenne Dunkley (Shrewsbury) - 8.49 rating

Shrewsbury earned just their third away league win of the season at Northampton's expense on Saturday with centre-back Cheyenne Dunkley key. Left-back: Jodi Jones (Notts County) - 8.27 rating

Jodi Jones continued his excellent run of form with his 17th assist of the season in Notts County's 1-1 draw with Barrow. Jones' assist for Aaron Nemane came from one of two key passes, while an additional six dribbles saw the 26-year-old return a WhoScored.com rating of 8.27.

Right midfield: Connor Lemonheigh-Evans (Stockport) - 8.81 rating

Like Macauley Southam-Hales, Connor Lemonheigh-Evans was also directly involved in two of Stockport's five goals at Doncaster. The 27-year-old netted his second league goal of the campaign with 15 minutes of the first half remaining and followed that up with the assist for Isaac Olaofe's strike 10 minutes after the restart, those coming from respective returns of three shots and two key passes.

Central midfield: Jack Aitchison (Exeter) - 8.16 rating

Exeter look to be finally getting their season back on track as they extended their unbeaten run to three matches with a hard-fought 2-1 win at Barnsley. Jack Aitchison was directly involved in both goals at Oakwell, firing the Grecians ahead in the 17th-minute before providing the assist for Reece Cole, those coming from respective returns of one shot and three key passes.

Central midfield: Kyle Dempsey (Bolton) - 8.14 rating

Joining Aitchison in the middle of the park is the first of two Bolton representatives. Kyle Dempsey netted his second goal of the season as the Trotters beat Carlisle on Saturday, getting the better of Harry Lewis with one of three shots. Having earned a perfect WhoScored.com 10 rating in Salford's 3-2 win at Crewe, Matt Smith is the EFL player of the week. Smith bagged a hat-trick at the Mornflake Stadium from seven shots and he again maximised his standing to win 17 aerial duels to cap another fine afternoon for the 34-year-old.

Striker: Paddy Madden (Stockport) - 8.91 rating

The star player from Stockport's comfortable victory at Doncaster, Paddy Madden netted his seventh and eighth goals of the season as he struck with two of four shots. The experienced striker also won four aerial duels to return a WhoScored.com rating of 8.91 to partner Smith on the frontline.
