WhoScored.com run through their EFL team of the week with the likes of Hull, Southampton, Wrexham, Mansfield and Fleetwood all making the cut.

Goalkeeper: Steve Arnold (Sutton) - 9.25 rating

League Two footers Sutton may have lost 1-0 at Tranmere but Steve Arnold's performance between the sticks gave the Amber and Chocolates a fighting chance at Prenton Park. The 34-year-old made 11 saves in total, including a second half penalty stop, to return a WhoScored.com rating of 9.25.

Centre-back: Jacob Greaves (Hull) - 8.79 rating

Hull held Preston to a 0-0 draw at Deepdale on Saturday with Jacob Greaves on hand to land his second WhoScored.com player of the match award of the campaign in the stalemate. The 23-year-old won 15 aerial duels and made eight clearances, four tackles and three interceptions in a solid rearguard display.

Centre-back: Harvey Rodgers (Grimsby) - 8.67 rating

Grimsby ended a seven-match winless run with a 1-0 win over relegation rivals Forest Green with Harvey Rodgers putting in a player of the match performance at the heart of the defence. Rodgers scored what proved to be the winning goal in the eighth minute, while five clearances, four interceptions and four aerial duels won helped the Mariners to a much-needed win.

Centre-back: Lewis Brunt (Mansfield) - 8.30 rating

Rounding off the defence is Mansfield's Lewis Brunt, who was good value for his WhoScored.com rating of 8.30. 14 aerial duels won, five clearances and five interceptions helped Mansfield to a win that saw them go three points clear at the top of the table.

Right midfield: David Brooks (Southampton) - 9.27 rating

With a WhoScored.com rating of 9.27, Southampton's David Brooks makes the EFL team of the week. The on-loan winger was directly involved in two of Southampton's four goals at Birmingham, following up his assist for Adam Armstrong's first half strike with a goal of his own 10 minutes into the second half. Those came from respective returns of six key passes and two shots, while an additional four tackles capped a fine showing.

Central midfield: Elliot Lee (Wrexham) - 9.70 rating

Wrexham ended a three-game winless run in fine fashion as they beat Accrington 4-0 on home turf, with Elliot Lee directly involved in two of four goals. Indeed, Lee struck with one of five shots and provided one assist from five key passes in an excellent showing from the 29-year-old.

Central midfield: Bosun Lawal (Fleetwood) - 9.01 rating

The star player from Fleetwood's win over Wigan, Bosun Lawal was good value for his WhoScored.com rating of 9.01 having netted twice from two shots in the 4-2 victory. The 20-year-old was unfortunate not to add an assist having made two key passes, while four tackles and two dribbles helped the midfielder to secure his spot in the League One team of the week.

Central midfield: Harvey Knibbs (Reading) - 9.19 rating

Reading claimed an impressive 3-1 win at Carlisle on Saturday afternoon with Harvey Knibbs key in the away victory. The 24-year-old netted either side of half time from two shots, while six tackles and five key passes capped his second best rated performance of the season.

Left midfield: Baily Cargill (Mansfield) - 8.92 rating

The second Mansfield player in the XI, they capitalised on Stockport's game being postponed to go three points clear at the top of the table with Baily Cargill key in their 1-0 win over Newport. The left-back provided the assist for George Maris' 50th minute winner, that coming from one of three key passes. Eight aerial duels won and four tackles contributed to Cargill's WhoScored.com rating of 8.92.

Striker: Paul Mullin (Wrexham) - 10.0 rating

Remaining with Wrexham, Paul Mullin is the EFL player of the week having returned a perfect WhoScored.com 10 rating. Mullin netted a first half hat-trick against Accrington, hitting the back of the net with three of six shots, and registered the assist for Lee's goal with one of two key passes.

Striker: Adam Armstrong (Southampton) - 8.77 rating

Adam Armstrong netted his 17th league goal of the season in Southampton's 4-3 win at Birmingham, getting the better of John Ruddy with one of five shots. One key pass and one tackle helped the Saints striker to a WhoScored.com rating of 8.77.
