The first of two Ipswich representatives in the side, Cameron Burgess bagged his first league goal of the season as the Tractor Boys eased to a 6-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend. The 28-year-old also won five aerial duels and made one tackle to secure his spot in defence.

Centre-back: Paudie O'Connor (Lincoln) - 8.22 rating

Lincoln are the dominant side in the EFL team of the week with centre-back Paudie O'Connor the first of three Imps representatives. O'Connor scored his second league goal of the season as they thrashed Bristol Rovers 5-0 win, while a total of nine clearances ensure a clean sheet for Michael Skubala's side.

Centre-back: Conor McCarthy (Swindon) - 8.21 rating

Rounding off the backline is Swindon's Conor McCarthy, who earned a WhoScored.com rating of 8.21. While Swindon fell to a home loss to Doncaster, McCarthy was solid as he won 12 aerial duels and made three tackles and three interceptions to feature.

Right midfield: Gabriel Sara (Norwich) - 8.60 rating

Gabriel Sara became the third player to register double figures for both goals and assists in the Championship this season with his 10th league goal of the campaign in Norwich's 3-0 win at Stoke. Sara struck with one of two shots, while three tackles, two key passes and one dribble saw the 24-year-old land a WhoScored.com rating of 8.60.

Central midfield: Omari Hutchinson (Ipswich) - 10.0 rating

With a perfect WhoScored.com 10 rating, Ipswich star Omari Hutchinson is the EFL player of the week. Hutchinson was directly involved in three of the Tractor Boys' six goals against Sheffield Wednesday as he got the better of James Beadle with two of six shots and provided one assist with one of two key passes. A further six dribbles and three tackles marked a memorable afternoon for the 20-year-old.

Central midfield: Lewis Wing (Reading) - 9.58 rating

With a WhoScored.com rating of 9.58, Reading midfielder partners Hutchinson in the middle of the park. Wing was directly involved in two of the Royals' four goals against Cambridge, netting midway through the second half before turning provider for Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan late on. Those came from respective returns of three shots and one key pass, while five tackles and three clearances saw the 28-year-old play an instrumental role in Reading's fine victory.

Central midfield: Matt Butcher (Wycombe) - 8.53 rating

Left midfield: Reeco Hackett-Fairchild (Lincoln) - 8.47 rating

Reeco Hackett-Fairchild netted his fifth league goal of the season as Lincoln trounced Bristol Rovers 5-0 at the LNER Stadium on Saturday. The 26-year-old struck with one of three shots, while he worked hard off the ball, too, as he won two aerial duels, made two clearances and one tackle to return a WhoScored.com rating of 8.47.

Striker: Joseph Taylor (Lincoln) - 9.55 rating
