Alex Field has given so much to QPR's Tiger Cubs, and in turn the project has given a lot back to him.

The Tiger Cubs programme, which supports young people with Down’s syndrome through football, has helped Alex create relationshps with team-mates and coaches, learn technical skills and build his confidence.

It is just one of the many community activities performed by EFL Clubs' charitable arms, which collectively generated £1.24 billion of social value last season.

"I love being involved with football because I enjoy making good friends with the coaches and the rest of the players," said Alex.

"The Tiger Cubs community is fantastic, the coaches have been very good to me over the 10 years I've been doing it. I've got a great rapport with the guys.

Alex has even earned his FA Level 1 Coaching Award while with the Cubs, on top of playing at national and international tournaments.

Earlier this year, Alex spoke on stage at the launch of the EFL's Community Strategy and continues to be an enthusiastic ambassador for his Club and Community Trust.

"Being involved in the tournaments with the other people and goin to other clubs, we've had a good time in national competitions," he added.

"It's great fun and great to be to be part of it. The Tiger Cubs has given me a great opportunity to be with coaches and friends who have been fantastic with me. I'd say to anyone, go for it."
