Salford ground out a 1-0 home win over MK Dons with youngster Stephan Negru claiming the Player of the Match award with a WhoScored.com rating of 8.38. The 22-year-old held firm in a clean-sheet attaining display as he made six clearances, four tackles and four interceptions.

Centre-back: Laurence Maguire (MK Dons) - 8.19 rating

While MK Dons were unable to claim a result at Salford, Laurence Maguire was solid at the back in the eventual 1-0 defeat. Maguire won eight aerial duels and made three tackles, three interceptions, two clearances and blocked two shots to return a WhoScored rating of 8.19

Right midfield: Luke Molyneux (Doncaster) - 9.06 rating

With a WhoScored.com rating of 9.06, Doncaster's Luke Molyneux kicks off the midfield. The winger was directly involved in all three Doncaster goals in their 3-2 win at Port Vale, netting with both shots and providing one assist from two key passes. An additional three tackles capped a fine showing from Molyneux.

Central midfield: David Ozoh (Derby) - 8.83 rating

Central midfield: Lee Evans (Blackpool) - 8.59 rating

Blackpool were held to a 2-2 draw with Wycombe at Bloomfield Road on Saturday with Lee Evans shining in the stalemate. Indeed, Evans provided his second and third assists of the season against the Chairboys, those coming from five key passes, while the midfielder also won three aerial duels and made two tackles to return a WhoScored.com rating of 8.59.

Central midfield: Robbie McKenzie (Gillingham) - 8.34 rating

Robbie McKenzie bagged his first league goal of the season in Gillingham's 1-0 win over Chesterfield on Saturday.
