Sheffield United edged past Derby at the weekend, with Gustavo Hamer putting in a Player of the Match shift against the Rams. 4. Mark McGuinness (Luton) - 7.89 rating

 

Mark McGuinness picked the perfect time to register his first assist of the season as he turned provider late on for Carlton Morris in Luton's 2-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday. The 23-year-old stood firm at the back, too, as he won 10 aerial duels and made five clearances, three interceptions and one tackle to earn a WhoScored.com rating of 7.89.

 

3. Jason Knight (Bristol City) - 7.94 rating

 

Jason Knight was key as Bristol City came from behind to defeat Oxford at Ashton Gate on Saturday afternoon. Knight provided the assist for Sinclair Armstrong's second half strike to kickstart the comeback, that coming from one of five key passes, and he won five aerial duels and made two tackles on his Way to a WhoScored.com rating of 7.94.

 

2. Marcelino Nunez (Norwich) - 8.34 rating

 

Marcelino Nunez bagged his first league goal of the season as Norwich eased to a 4-1 win over Watford at Carrow Road on Saturday. The Chilean got the better of Jonathan Bond with one of three shots and was unfortunate not to claim an assist having made four key passes. An additional four tackles saw Nunez return a WhoScored.com rating of 8.34.

 

1. Callum Doyle (Norwich) - 8.79 rating

 

With a WhoScored.com rating of 8.79, Norwich's Callum Doyle is the Championship Player of the Week. Doyle was directly involved in two of four goals against Watford, following up his early strike with the assist for Nunez's second half goal, those coming from respective returns of one shot and two key passes. The 20-year-old also worked hard off the ball, evident in that he made two tackles, two clearances and one interception.
