Cameron Ashia – HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v Leicester City

An incredible curing effort from Cameron Ashia forced penalties in West Yorkshire as the Terries overcame Leicester City in the shootout to book a place in Round Two.

After receiving the ball on the left flank, Ashia cut inside onto his right foot before his shot from outside of the box flew past Foxes goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk.

Guilherme Siqueira – Bolton Wanderers v SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY

Sheffield Wednesday overcame Bolton on penalties to secure a place in Round Two after a thrilling 90 minutes of football in Greater Manchester.

It was the Owls who took an early lead through a magnificent long-range strike from Gui Siqueira.

Gustavo Hamer – Birmingham City v SHEFFIELD UNITED

A glorious goal from Sheffield United star Gus Hamer wasn't enough to send them through as hosts Birmingham City scored a late winner to progress, winning 2-1.

The Blues took an early lead before Hamer's superb strike from just over the halfway line briefly gave the Blades a glimmer of hope.

Ibou Touray – Blackburn Rovers v BRADFORD CITY

Ibou Touray's thumping volley two minutes in gave the Bantams an early lead as they saw off Blackburn Rovers 1-2 at Ewood Park to seal a place in Round Two.

A perfect cross from Jenson Metcalfe landed at the feet of Touray, who timed his run perfectly at the back post to strike past Nicholas Michalski in the Rovers' net.

Joe Ward – West Bromwich Albion v DERBY COUNTY

A 90+6 minute equaliser from Joe Ward forced penalties at the Hawthornes, with Derby edging out West Brom 3-2 in the shootout.

A whipped free-kick from the left flank by Ward found its way into the top corner, with it being the Rams' only shot on target on a night where they found themselves lucky to go through.

Tyler Goodrham – OXFORD UNITED v Colchester United

A superb strike from Goodrham inside nine minutes was enough to book Oxford a place in the next round.

The 22-year-old spectacular curling effort from 25 yards out found the top corner, leaving Colchester keeper Matt Macey no chance.
