Last week, Cardiff City FC Community Foundation welcomed local businesses, partners and supporters to the home of the Bluebirds for its inaugural Charity Quiz Night.

The festive evening raised over £6,500 to support the Foundation’s community and education projects delivered across South Wales.

The event was hosted by award-winning actor and lifelong City fan Callum Scott Howells, star of Channel 4’s It’s a Sin and Netflix’s The Beautiful Game.

His warmth, humour, and festive cheer set the tone for a night to remember and ensured that the atmosphere inside Cardiff City Stadium was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a strong sense of community spirit.

The quiz brought together twenty teams who battled it out across a variety of rounds covering music, films, general knowledge, Christmas trivia, and the history of the Football Club.

A special highlight of the evening was a Q&A session with Cardiff City FC Head Coach Brian Barry-Murphy, who offered supporters a unique insight into life at the training ground, and even revelaed which players he'd have on his own quiz team.

Cardiff Classic Shirts played a central role in the evening by showcasing a stunning collection of authentic vintage and retro shirts, giving attendees the chance to see football fashion history up close during the break.

Alongside the shirt exhibition, Cardiff Classic Shirts also ran a silent auction throughout the event, offering supporters the opportunity to bid on rare and unique items while contributing further to the fundraising efforts.

Several local businesses donated fantastic raffle prizes which included an overnight stay at The Coal Exchange, brunch at Flight Club Cardiff a gin tasting session at Hensol Castle, and much more!

Congratulations to The Fun Bus who were the winning quiz team on the night, and took home the trophy and Cardiff City goodie bags packed with treats.
