Fantastic four for QPR

Queens Park Rangers produced an emphatic display as they defeated Derby County 4-0 at the MATRADE Loftus Road Stadium on Friday night.

In what was Rams' new boss John Eustace's first match in the dugout, the visitors were comprehensively beaten courtesy of a double from Ilias Chair and goals from Koki Saito and Ronnie Edwards.

Chair's and the Rs' first of the night was a spectacular one on 21 minutes, firing into the far corner from range after the home side won back possession inside Derby's half.

Just under 15 minutes later QPR took control as Saito smashed the ball into the roof of the net after Jacob Widell  Zetterstrom spilled Chair's initial effort.

The Rs carried on in the same vein after the restart and put themselves out of sight on 57 minutes as Chair finished off a lovely move at the near post to bag his second and the host's third.

What was turning into a good night got even better for Martí Cifuentes's side as Southampton loanee Ronnie Edwards headed in Kenneth Paal's inswinging free-kick at the near post to top off a fantastic evening for the Hoops who moved within three points of the Play-Offs with this result.

Opponents Derby however saw themselves slip into the Sky Bet Championship relegation zone on goal difference on what was a difficult start to Eustace's reign at the Club.
