With a reduced footballing calendar this weekend due to FA Cup fixtures and poor weather, three EFL games took centre stage.
Nine matches were postponed in League One and Two on Saturday following consecutive nights of sub-zero temperatures across the UK. Here is a round-up of action from the day's three matches that went ahead:
Sky Bet League One
The day's only fixture in League One was the early kick-off between Rotherham United and Bolton Wanderers. Bolton travelled across the Pennines in search of their first away victory at Rotherham since 1966, a run 17 matches in the making.
In the bright sunshine, neither side managed to grab an early foothold in this encounter until Malik Wilks burst through towards the Bolton goal before being bundled over inside the box. Wilks cooly converted the penalty to give the hosts a 34th minute lead with his first goal since October.
Rotherham carried this momentum forward to end the half strongly, doubling their lead in stoppage time thanks to Reece James' smart strike - his first goal for the club.

The second-half was a story of frustration for Bolton, controlling the game and giving Wanderers very little in the way of chances.
Substitute Dion Charles made a positive impact, almost providing his side with a route back into the game, his close-range effort pulled agonisingly wide.
Rotherham seemed to have an answer for everything that Bolton came up with and all-but sealed the game through Sam Nombe, there to finish into an empty net after Baxter pulled off a smart save.
Bolton did manage a consolation through John McAtee in the 86th minute but it proved to be too-little-too-late for Ian Evatt's side, whose wait for a win at Rotherham continues.

Sky Bet League Two
Two matches in League Two survived the wintry weather, with Walsall hosting Tranmere Rovers and Crewe Alexandra travelling to Swindon Town.
In the 12:30pm kick-off, league leaders Walsall put in another dominant performance, hitting five past ten-man Tranmere Rovers.
Despite the cold conditions, fans were treated to a fiery encounter. Walsall hit the front in the 15th minute through frontman Jamille Matt's header. Things looked ominous for Tranmere, who were looking to avoid being on the receiving end of Walsall's eighth win in a row.
The league's form side showed no signs of letting up, doubling their lead on the 22nd-minute mark via Ryan Stirk's impressive strike from range.

Things went from bad to worse for the visitors when Sam Finley was shown a second yellow card for a handball.
Despite this, Tranmere ended the half on a high when Connor Jennings rifled into the bottom corner on the stroke of half-time. The half ended with the score 2-1, the hope and momentum on the side of Tranmere.
However, Walsall reasserted their dominance after the break, Jamille Matt's second of the game and 100th in the EFL restoring their 2 goal lead.
From here on in Walsall held the upper-hand, threatening to score on numerous occasions as the game became more stretched. Jamie Jellis finished smartly to make it 4 before in-form striker Nathan Lowe got his name on the scoresheet, rounding off an impressive win for the league leaders, their eighth in a row.

In the 15:00 kick off, second-placed Crewe Alexandra travelled to Swindon Town, looking to try and reduce Walsall's lead at the top to 10 points.
Just three minutes into the game, play was suspended due to the intense fog that covered the Nigel Eady County Ground. The players were taken off and play was suspended for just under an hour to allow for the fog to clear.
Thankfully, the weather subsided and visibility improved, meaning the game was able to resume at 4pm.
Swindon Town had the better chances in what was a dogged affair, a fierce strike from Ollie Clarke rattling the post in the best chance of the game.
The match ended goalless, with a point a fair reflection of proceedings.
