Leeds United returned to the Sky Bet Championship summit with a 2-0 win over Millwall, courtesy of an early own goal by Jake Cooper and a powerful strike from Ao Tanaka. The victory extended their unbeaten home league run to 16 games and moved them two points clear of Sheffield United

Elsewhere, Hull City climbed five points clear of the relegation zone with a 2-1 comeback win over Oxford United. After Michal Helik’s volley gave Oxford the lead, Joe Gelhardt and Gustavo Puerta struck in quick succession to secure the points, despite Puerta’s late red card and a close call when Przemyslaw Placheta hit the bar.

Stoke City also boosted their survival hopes with a 1-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers, ending a five-game winless streak. Ali Al-Hamadi’s first-half goal proved decisive, lifting Stoke to 19th, while Blackburn’s winless run under Valerien Ismael continued, with Joe Rankin-Costello denied a late equaliser by goalkeeper Viktor Johansson.

Watford reignited their Play-Off push with a 1-0 win over Swansea City, ending the visitors’ unbeaten run under caretaker boss Alan Sheehan. Moussa Sissoko capitalized on a defensive error to score the winner, moving Watford to 10th and within four points of the top six, while Swansea remain 16th but nine points clear of relegation.

Bottom club Plymouth Argyle stunned Portsmouth 2-1, just days after Portsmouth had ended Leeds’ unbeaten run in the league. Ryan Hardie starred with a goal and an assist, while a late red card for Matthew Sorinola couldn’t prevent Plymouth from securing their first away win of the season, moving them within three points of safety.
