Bristol City v Norwich City
- Bristol City are looking to complete a league double over Norwich City for the first time since the 2008-09 campaign.
- Norwich have won four of their last seven league visits to Bristol City (D2 L1) and are looking to win consecutive games at Ashton Gate for the first time since March 1975.
- Bristol City have won seven of their last 10 home league matches (D2 L1) and haven’t conceded more than once in any of those 10 games.
- Norwich City are unbeaten in their last three away league games (W1 D2), last enjoying a longer unbeaten run on the road between February and April 2023 (five).
- Anis Mehmeti has scored seven goals in his last nine league starts at Ashton Gate and has scored nine goals at home this season. The last Robins player to reach double figures for home league goals in a season was Andreas Weimann in 2021-22 (12).
Millwall v Stoke City
- Millwall have lost one of their last 12 league meetings with Stoke (W6 D5), a 2-0 away defeat in the 2021-22 season.
- Stoke have won none of their last six league visits to Millwall (D2 L4) since a 1-0 win in August 2005 under manager Johan Boskamp.
- Millwall have picked up just five points in their six league games at the Den under Alex Neil (W1 D2 L3), scoring just five goals in that time from 65 shots (7.7% conversion rate).
- Stoke City have lost their last three away league matches, last losing four in a row between January and March 2024 under Steven Schumacher.
- This is Millwall manager Alex Neil’s first league meeting with Stoke since he left the club. Neil has won four of his last five Championship games against the Potters (L1).
Queens Park Rangers v Leeds United
- Queens Park Rangers have won five of their last six home league games against Leeds (L1), keeping a clean sheet in each victory. They beat them 4-0 last April despite being 40 points behind them in the league table.
- Leeds United beat QPR 2-0 earlier this season and are looking to complete a league double over the Hoops for the first time since 2017-18.
- QPR have won seven of their last nine league games at Loftus Road (L2), although they lost 2-1 most recently against Sheffield United. They last suffered consecutive home defeats in October.
- Leeds lost 1-0 against Portsmouth at Fratton Park in their last away league game – the Whites haven’t suffered consecutive away defeats since December 2023.
- Since beating QPR 3-1 in December 2017, Leeds have lost 24 of their 31 league games in London (W4 D3).
Blackburn Rovers v Cardiff City
- Blackburn Rovers have only lost one of their last 12 league games against Cardiff City (W6 D5) and have beaten them in three of their last four meetings (D1).
- Cardiff are winless in their last eight league visits to Blackburn (D5 L3) and have lost each of their last three at Ewood Park. Their last win at this venue came in December 2012 under Malky Mackay.
- Blackburn Rovers have won three of their last five home league games (D1 L1), with two of those wins coming under John Eustace and one under caretaker manager David Lowe.
- Cardiff City have won only one of their last 20 away league matches (D9 L10), beating Watford 2-1 in December.
- Blackburn forward Andreas Weimann has scored seven Championship goals against Cardiff City, more than he has against any other team.
Coventry City v Sunderland
- The last nine league meetings between Coventry and Sunderland have alternated between a draw and a victory for Coventry; the game earlier this season ended 2-2.
- Sunderland are winless in their last 11 league visits to Coventry (D5 L6); their last win on the road against the Sky Blues came at Highfield Road in April 1985 in the top-flight.
- Coventry City have won seven of their last nine home league matches (D1 L1), winning each of their last three in a row. They last had a longer home winning run between May and October 2021 (seven wins).
- Sunderland have won three of their last four away league games (L1), as many as they won in their previous 12 away games combined (W3 D5 L4).
- Bobby Thomas has scored in each of his last three home league appearances for Coventry, scoring three times in total. He’d only scored twice in his first 35 games at the Coventry Building Society Arena for the Sky Blues.
Luton Town v Middlesbrough
- Luton are unbeaten in their last seven home league games against Middlesbrough (W4 D3) since losing 1-0 back in October 1974.
- Middlesbrough are looking to complete a league double over Luton Town for the first time since the 1973-74 campaign under Jack Charlton.
- Luton Town have won five of their last 11 home league games (D3 L3) and haven’t conceded more than one goal in any of those 11 at Kenilworth Road.
- Middlesbrough have lost five of their last six away league matches (W1), winning the other 3-1 against Stoke City in February.
- Tommy Conway has scored six goals in his last 10 away league appearances for Middlesbrough, scoring in two of his last three.
Oxford United v Watford
- Oxford United have won two of their last 27 games against Watford in all competitions (D12 L13), and are winless in their last seven against the Hornets (D2 L5).
- Watford are unbeaten in their last 15 away games in all competitions against Oxford (W5 D10), with this their first visit to the U’s since a 1-1 League Cup draw in September 2020.
- Oxford have lost their last two home league games, the U’s haven’t lost more consecutively since a five game losing run in February and March 2023.
- Watford have kept a clean sheet in each of their last two away league matches. The Hornets last kept more away clean sheets in a row between January and February 2021 (three).
- Oxford boss Gary Rowett has won each of his last two league meetings with Watford, beating them 3-0 at home and 2-0 away in 2022-23 when he was at Millwall.
Plymouth Argyle v Derby County
- Plymouth Argyle are unbeaten in their last four league meetings with Derby County (W3 D1) since a 2-1 defeat in August 2009.
- Derby have lost their last two away league games against Plymouth – their last win at Home Park came back in February 2009 under Nigel Clough, a 3-0 victory.
- Plymouth have kept just one clean sheet in their last 12 home matches in all competitions, with that shutout coming against current Premier League leaders Liverpool in the FA Cup in February.
- Derby are winless in 10 away league games (D3 L7), last enduring a longer winless run between August 2019 and January 2020 (13 games).
- Derby manager John Eustace has already faced Plymouth at Home Park this season with previous club Blackburn, losing 2-1 in October.
Preston North End v Portsmouth
- Preston are unbeaten in their last 10 league games against Portsmouth at Deepdale (W6 D4), with this their first meeting since March 2013 in League One, a 1-1 draw.
- Portsmouth are looking to complete a league double over Preston North End for the first time since the 1969-70 season.
- Eight of Preston’s last 11 league games at Deepdale have been draws (W3), including each of their last three. They’ve only lost one out of 17 on home soil under Paul Heckingbottom (W6 D10).
- Portsmouth have lost 12 of their last 16 away league games (W2 D2), including eight of their last nine (W1).
- Portsmouth’s Josh Murphy has scored in each of his last two Championship games against Preston, while he’s also scored in his most recent appearance at Deepdale in April 2017 for Norwich.
Swansea City v Burnley
- Swansea City have lost each of their last three league games against Burnley. The Swans had won seven of their previous nine against the Clarets beforehand.
- Burnley won 2-1 on their last league visit to Swansea in January 2023. The Clarets haven’t won consecutive visits to the Swans in their league history.
- Swansea have won their last two home league games, having lost three in a row before this. Both of these wins have been under caretaker Alan Sheehan, with the Irishman winning each of his last four at Liberty Stadium.
- Burnley have conceded just six goals in 18 away league games this season, the lowest goals conceded per game (0.33) by a team away from home in a season in Football League history.
- Zian Flemming has been involved in eight goals in his last 12 away Championship appearances for Burnley (six goals, two assists).
West Bromwich Albion v Hull City
- West Bromwich Albion have won eight of their last 10 league meetings with Hull City (D1 L1), beating the Tigers 2-1 earlier this season.
- Hull have lost each of their last seven league visits to West Brom, conceding 20 goals across those defeats. Their last win at the Hawthorns came in October 2008 in the Premier League (3-0).
- West Brom have won seven of their last nine home league games (D1 L1) and have lost just one of their last 14 at the Hawthorns (W7 D6).
- There were just 90 seconds between João Pedro giving Hull the lead and getting sent off against Bristol City on Saturday in Hull’s last away league game. He became the first player to start a Championship game (since 2004-05), score a goal and get sent off inside the opening 14 minutes of a match.
- West Brom’s Adam Armstrong has been involved in six goals in his last seven home Championship starts (4 goals, 2 assists).
Sheffield Wednesday v Sheffield United
- Sheffield Wednesday have failed to score in any of their last four league games against Sheffield United with Lucas Joao the last player to score for the Owls against United back in September 2017.
- Sheffield United are looking to register a league double over rivals Sheffield Wednesday for the first time since the 2005-06 campaign.
- Sheffield Wednesday have lost their last two home league games and haven’t lost three in a row since losing their first three home games during the 2023-24 season.
- Sheffield United have won their last five away league games – the Blades are looking to win six in a row for only the second time in their history, doing so in 1892-93.
- Ben Brereton has scored six goals in his last 10 away Championship appearances across spells with Blackburn and Sheffield United. He’s never scored against Sheffield Wednesday in seven games against them however.
