To celebrate Connor’s determination and commitment to his passion for dance, Tigers Trust reached out to Hull Theatres to arrange something special. The theatre team responded with a brilliant idea.

Last month, the production of Edward Scissorhands took the stage at Hull New Theatre, starring Hull-born performer Liam Mower. Tigers Trust saw this as a perfect opportunity for Connor to meet a positive role model in the world of performing arts. Hull Theatres went above and beyond, offering Connor a chance to explore the backstage workings of the show and attend the performance as a special guest. The experience was made even more memorable when Liam Mower personally gifted Connor a signed programme, with messages from several of the cast members.

Reflecting on his unforgettable experience, Connor said, “It was brilliant. I got to see how all the props and costumes were set up, see the actors. This experience has fuelled my desire to explore similar opportunities in the future.”
