Bobby Clark has been named EA Sports FC Young Player of the Month for January, following an impressive month on loan at Derby County.

The 21-year-old Red Bull Salzburg loanee has found form on his return to England, picking up three goals and an assist in January to help the Rams to a four-game unbeaten run.

'I'm buzzing to be back playing in the UK playing again,' said Clark. 'This Championship season has been. really exciting and really intense.'

Having come through both Newcastle United and Liverpool's academies, Clark has found regular first-team football with the Rams, following in the footsteps of many other young prospects that have formed careers in the EFL.

Speaking on what motivates him, Clark explained 'The position we're in. The opportunity we've got to get near the Play-Offs.'

Derby sit just two points adrift of the Play-Off places, hunting down a return to the top flight for the first time since 2008.
